Stuff

I like to watch movies. Marty and I watch lots of movies. Now that we can rent them so affordably at Redbox stands, I think even Dave Ramsey would approve. We borrow lots of DVDs, too, which is fun. My sister recently sent me Season 1 of the TV series "Buffy the Vampire Slayer." I liked it a lot, and am looking forward to catching up on the rest of the series. Yes, I am several years behind. If you are one of the two people left in Arkansas who haven't heard, Marty and I are broke. We are really working on it, though. That being said, we cancelled our cable with the DVR, which we miss A LOT! We don't have internet or phone service at home any longer, either. It's just our little digital tv converter boxes and our cell phones. We've done pretty well, though, and we are absolutely grateful for friends and family loaning us movies, because that's about all the entertainment we can afford.

Anywho, last weekend we watched "My Life in Ruins" with Nia Vardalos. It was predictable, but cute. Marty laughed out loud one time. We also rented "Management" with Jennifer Anniston and Steven Zahn. I love Steven Zahn and want to love his movies, but this one was pretty stinky. I kind of liked the story, and Woody Harrelson was hilarious. I would wait until it's on TNT to watch it, though. Don't waste the dollar to rent it.

This weekend we'll be watching "Observe and Report" and "Race to Witch Mountain." I saw witch mountain at the theater with Andrew, but Marty hasn't seen it. I'll let you know what I think.

See ya,
Heather

  1. if you like Steve Zahn you need to watch a little joint called "Happy Texas" with him, Jeremy Northram, William H. Macy, Ileana Douglas, and Allie Walker.

  2. I love "Happy Texas"! It's the best. I think that's where I fell in love with Steve Zahn.
